Dr. Evelyn Mercer

Chief Scientific Officer

Dr. Evelyn Mercer leads the scientific organization at EXIST. Her work focuses on recurrent neural dynamics, multimodal state estimation, and high-dimensional reconstruction under incomplete measurement.

Mercer joined EXIST in 2016 during the company's early Bay Area research phase. She helped establish the Dynamic Connectome Model as a probabilistic state-space framework rather than a static anatomical representation.

As Chief Scientific Officer, she oversees research standards, model validation, cross-program methodology, and scientific review across Neural State Reconstruction, Identity Persistence, and Cognitive Integrity.
